Transparency

United Way leads the nonprofit sector in the call for transparent accountability and measurable results. United Way of Benton & Lincoln Counties is independently incorporated, with Board and governing committee members comprised of local volunteers. United Way invests resources into our local communities in a transparent and public fashion.

We have a responsibility to our donors, partners, and the community to ensure that the resources entrusted to us are invested in ways that fulfill our mission, produce measurable results, and are efficient - to provide a good return on investment for all.

We also believe that setting standards for our local partners is critical to achieve our mission and create success for all. Our investment strategy uses a volunteer-driven, competitive grant funding model that unites us with projects involving business, government and nonprofit partners.
