Community Impact Committee

United Way is committed to building a healthy, well-educated and self-sufficient community that benefits all its residents. Who better to know about the community than its volunteers? All our committees are comprised of competent, dedicated people who desire to see the world become a better place for everyone. These folks are your friends and neighbors.

The Community Impact Committee works in many areas to guide the operational mission of United Way:

  • Provide oversight of United Way granting programs
  • Engage in community needs assessments
  • Oversee United Way's key role in managing promotion of our inititiaves, such as 2-1-1 and EITC.
  • Attend community forums and partner events as available and as they pertain to key issues

Our Community Impact Committees are standing committees chaired by a member of the United Way Board of Directors. Time commitments vary, but each group recruits and trains new members on a continuing basis.

Why not join them? Great things happen when we LIVE UNITED. Contact us now for more information.
