LINCOLN COUNTY TO RECEIVE EFSP FUNDS!

Lincoln County has received $7,277 to supplement emergency food and shelter programs during 2011. Qualifying agencies must: 1) Serve residents of Lincoln County, Oregon, 2) be private voluntary non-profits or unites of government, 3) be eligible to receive federal funds, 4) have an accounting system, 5) practice nondiscrimination, 6) have demonstrated the capability to deliver emergency food and/or shelter programs, and 7) if they are a private voluntary organization, they must have a voluntary board.  Qualifying agencies are urged to apply by clicking the link below for their program area. Day of Caring 2011!

On Friday, 9/23/11, 552 volunteers completed nearly 49 service projects for 30 agencies in and around Benton County.  Volunteers painted, washed windows, did yard work and more!
