COMMUNITY NEEDS ASSESSMENT
Overview
Every few years, United Way facilitates a needs assessment to help understand the human service environment. This report identifies areas of critical need, addresses assets as well as deficits, and is based on available data from community leaders, county, state and city representatives, volunteers and donors. Research also includes data collected from local human service agencies, and at the city, county, state and federal levels.
One goal of the process is to encourage informed dialogue and collaborative efforts to address these needs.
